A Bit of History Oktoberfest began as the largest funfair in the world held in Munich, Bavaria and Germany annually. The celebration began all the way back in 1810. By the year 1818, carnivals booth and many races and events evolved into this large fall celebration. Since then, other cities around the world have joined in the fun to celebrate a new season with their communities. |
